Secret of the Peach Tree

 What happens when kids eat a peach on the front lawn?
They bury the pit in the earth to see what happens next...
Of course! How else does a child get the earth to tell its secrets?

Well, it happened to us,
and when we tried to pull a 'weed' out of the bushes..
The gardener told us the good news-
Congratulations! It's a peach (tree)!

It's still a little baby peach tree
but it has indeed started to tell us some of life's secrets...
Here's what I found out:

You know how, sometimes, we work and work, with few results?
Maybe in  a relationship, or a new venture.
Seemingly no fruits of our labor, right?
And then, out of nowhere- a gift appears..
With almost no effort!
(like our peach tree that grew without our effort).

What's that all about?
The truth is, that all sincere effort yields results
Where? When? Results are unpredictable.
But when we're ready to trust that our
DESIRE + EFFORT have planted a powerful seed,
and then keep our eyes peeled for small miracles
then life does indeed begin to feel miraculous
and the fruits of our labor surface in unexpected places.

So my  question to you is:
What in your life feels like too much work,  too little reward?
Which relationship?
